Every day you will help Minco succeed by working with operations to ensure we meet our customer’s needs and living Minco’s icare values -- Integrity, Communication, Accountability, Respect, & Energy.


    • Processes, reviews, and approves standard shop order handling, which includes reserving materials, ensuring work guidelines are included, and printing and distributing orders; provides assistance planning shop orders, such as consolidating, releasing, and splitting orders; may also assist with more complex orders when needed.
    • Monitor and update customer order line notifications
    • Assists with coordinating activities involving setting inventory levels, forecasting demand, and establishing production schedules, such as running reports, analyzing data, and providing basic operational recommendations.
    • Runs and maintains basic or standard models to review product and customer demand; requires assistance establishing new or running complex forecasting models.
    • Assists with developing material resource planning requirements for a product line, reserves materials, provides assistance on developing product group reports and with developing production schedules, capacity requirements, planning bills, and related areas.
    • Provides general customer service for sales, purchasing, operations, logistics, regarding forecast and scheduling levels; involves other planners to resolve sensitive customer or resource needs.
    • Assists with developing reports for programs, inventory and warehouse levels, and other operational data.
    • Responds to standard questions, e-mails, and concerns from employees regarding the status of customer orders, inventory and order points, and the coordination of production.
    • Follows operational policies and procedures to examine inventory levels, investigate problems, and respond to issues.
    • Performs basic office duties, such as copying, filing, faxing, typing standard documents, preparing, sorting, and distributing mail, entering data, and running basic or standard reports.
    • May perform basic trend analysis and research.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.



    Who You Are:


    Basic Qualifications:


    • High School Diploma required.
    • One year of office or operational support experience within an inventory, warehouse, or production environment.



    Preferred Qualifications:


    • Associate Degree in Operations Management or Business Administration;
    • Understanding of documents and forms related to the shipping process;
    • Experience operating within an enterprise resource planning environment;
    • Experience serving as a specialist in one or more of the shipping, receiving, or materials processes;
    • ERP, Word, and Excel


    Physical Requirements


    Positions in this class typically require: learning, reading, concentrating, thinking, communicating, typing, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions

    Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.



    What Skills You Bring:


    • Understanding of basic operational support principles and practices (inventory, warehouse, production)
    • Preparing reports and queries,
    • Assisting with handling difficult or sensitive situations,
    • PC skills; Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); and other applicable applications,
    • Communicating with co-workers to provide and receive direction.



    This position is a regular full-time position located in our headquarters in Fridley, Minnesota.
