    Do you enjoy helping to improve processes in a manufacturing environment, or sourcing and qualifying equipment to help operators be successful? Then this Process Engineer position is for you! Every day you will help Minco succeed by supporting the printing, etching, plating, and microsection processes; learning to lead technical and process support teams; participating in supplier selection and development; and living Minco’s icare values -- Integrity, Communication, Accountability, Respect, & Energy.


    • Collaborate with production technicians, operators, internal and external customers, and other engineers to understand process requirements, objectives, timelines, and project tasks
    • Participate in continuous improvement projects that impact design and/or production. Ensure objectives and timelines are met that improve process performance
    • Apply professional process engineering tools and manufacturing principles to improve and control process outputs
    • Research potential changes to equipment and methods
    • Understand circuit, heater, and sensor manufacturing techniques and standards
    • Lead small teams through root cause analysis and problem resolution
    • Leverage data-based decision making to identify opportunities for improvement and verify results
    • Develop and review test protocols, reports, process instructions, and other documents to support operational success
    • Respond to questions and concerns from production technicians, customers, and suppliers
    • Work to improve quality, reduce cost and waste, and provide training or information


    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
    • Minimum of 2 years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment


    Preferred Qualifications:


    • Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills
    • Understanding of fundamental process engineering principles and practices
    • Understanding of basic project management principles and practices
    • Interest/commitment to become a Green Belt required
    • Ability to solve problems and recommend solutions
    • Ability to write process instructions for operators
    • Excellent computer skills; Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Power BI); Minitab, Solidworks, Labview, and/or other applicable applications

    • Strong experience responding to and resolving questions and concerns
    • Project management, organizational, analytical and presentation skills
    • Proven track record of implementing programs, policies, and procedures
    • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic and multi-cultural environment
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills for internal and external customer contact 


    This position is a regular full-time position located in our headquarters in Fridley, Minnesota.
