    Do you enjoy coordinating with all areas in operations to support engineering with major improvements? Then this Process Engineering Technician position is for you! Every day you will help Minco succeed by supporting process engineers with project execution, troubleshooting project and operational problems, designing and executing tests, documenting and analyzing data, and living Minco’s icare values -- Integrity, Communication, Accountability, Respect, & Energy.


    • Support process engineering, operations, and other internal and external customers to solve problems, validate processes, and analyze data
    • Provide training and guidance, and participate on cross functional teams  
    • Perform individual projects or subsets of larger projects to solve process problems and resolve operational questions and concerns
    • Apply technical engineering principles and practices to review and recommend methods to collect and analyze manufacturing data
    • Perform troubleshooting and outline additional research and investigation on broken processes    
    • Track and analyze operational data to identify areas for continuous improvement
    • Set up and conduct tests that may involve variable operational conditions to obtain data for development, standardization, and quality control
    • Write and update work instructions, technical instructions, or standards
    • Respond to questions and concerns, and support operations
    • Communicate with a variety of internal customers and departments regarding the status and findings of projects
    • May perform various assembly or production tasks to expedite orders, ensure quality control and balanced workload


    Basic Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
    • Two years of technical or advanced experience in a manufacturing or engineering position


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Associates Degree preferred
    • Previous electronics manufacturing or hand assembly experience
    • Microsoft office applications experience (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint)
    • Experience with use of basic statistics and data analysis
    • Ability to design and run tests with variable operational conditions
    • Experience with engineering software and programs
    • Experience with sourcing and qualifying equipment

    • Ability to work on cross functional projects


    This position is a regular full-time position located in our headquarters in Fridley, Minnesota.
