    Do you enjoy working closely with internal and external customers answering questions, reviewing documentation, processing orders and handling request for quotes?  Then this Customer Service Representative position is for you! Every day you will help Minco succeed by meeting our customer’s needs and working with Engineering, Planning, Finance and other departments to find solutions, work on continuous improvement activities and live Minco’s icare values -- Integrity, Communication, Accountability, Respect, & Energy.


    • Assist sales personnel with developing sales or account strategies for our key customers.
    • Develops relationships with internal and external customers. Work to understand business conditions, future needs, documents findings, and inform sales personnel of potential opportunities.
    • Respond to a wide variety of inquiries and/or complaints regarding products and/or services, basic contract requirements, quotes, delivery dates, adjustments to bills/orders, and other account management questions; requires a scope of knowledge regarding accounts.
    • Provide technical assistance and guidance regarding recurring to basic questions about product portfolios, specifications, and quotes; requires expanded cross functional knowledge regarding product groups.
    • Handle a variety of transactions; review and coordinate customer service activities pertaining to shipping, product schedules, inventory levels, and sales activities by reviewing reports, orders, shipments, and other information as required or directed by management.
    • Develop, review, and track correspondence and documentation as appropriate regarding interaction with customers and responds to questions and concerns to assist with the sales process and customer satisfaction.
    • Work as a liaison between sales personnel and customers to clarify orders, provide technical guidance, and facilitate recurring or new orders; assists with identifying and growing potential key accounts.
    • Manage customer websites.
    • Complete appropriate forms and documentation to facilitate the order process and responds to questions from sales and order management roles as necessary; ensures forms and documents comply with operational policies and procedures.
    • Receive order or quote information from fax, web-portal, email, or other sales/customer service personnel and enters required information into the database following department processes; follows up as necessary to clarify order and quote information



    Basic Qualifications:


    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Two or more years of experience in managing customer service calls and e-mails in a fast-paced, knowledge-based technical customer service environment.
    • Two or more years of experience in order & quote processing, data entry, customer service or contract administration.


    Preferred Qualifications:


    • Ability to use an ERP system and basic skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) or equivalent experience.
    • Excellent organization, time management and customer services skills.
    • Good interpersonal, verbal, written communications skills utilized in a team environment.
    • Experience monitoring and growing key accounts, identifying customer problems and concerns in a timely manner, developing correspondence and communications.

    This position is a regular full-time position located in our headquarters in Fridley, Minnesota.
