Every day you will help Minco succeed by overseeing calibration and maintaining the schedule, meeting standards to ensure quality and living Minco’s icare values -- Integrity, Communication, Accountability, Respect, & Energy.



  • Perform calibration for electronic, dimensional and physical measurement equipment
  • Maintain the calibration schedule & ensure calibrations are completed on time
  • Assist process engineering to develop and document calibration procedures for new equipment
  • Perform first article, in-process and receiving inspections, as needed
  • Maintain files and records
  • Respond to standard questions and concerns from internal departments, research information, provide facts, and other assistance as required
  • Follow Minco procedures to meet ANSI/NCSL A540-1, ISO 10012-1and SI calibration standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Basic Qualifications:


  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent
  • Two years of technical or advanced experience in a manufacturing environment



Preferred Qualifications:


  • Two year degree in a technical field is highly preferred
  • Experience as a certified calibration technician or inspector
  • Knowledge of ANSI/NCSL A540-3, ISO 10012-1, ISO17925 and SI calibration standards
  • Knowledge of the use and calibration of electrical measurement tools.
  • Ability to apply mathematical calculations involving basic statistics and operational data
  • Ability to understand and apply statistical sampling
  • Experience reading blue prints, schematics and other displays
  • Ability to learn and understand new types of gauges and equipment
  • Experience with GAGEtrak database
  • Experience using a Micro Vu Excel machine
  • Knowledge of Discus and Inspect software
  • Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning, tolerances and part inspection
  • Detailed documentation skills
  • Effective written and verbal to communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with other departments and groups.
  • Microsoft office applications experience (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint)

This position is a regular full-time position located in our headquarters in Fridley, Minnesota.
