  • Respond to quality inquiries from internal and external customers
  • Interpret and understand Minco, industry and customer quality requirements and programs
  • Apply quality engineering principles and practices such as flow charts, control plans, PFMEAs and measurement systems to improve product and process quality
  • Assess and monitor inspection requirements, materials standards, measurements systems and processes for quality conformance and performance
  • Investigate product failures, customer returns and other quality issues to identify improvements
  • Recognize quality issues and lead effective problem-solving activities individually and with teams
  • Conduct process and internal audits for quality compliance
  • Participate and lead quality and continuous improvement projects and initiatives
  • Coordinates appropriate quality communications and training
  • Develop and review quality reports, documents and tests


Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • Two years of quality engineering experience
  • At least one year of experience leading projects




Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience supervising employees
  • One year of experience with various quality management programs such as ISO or AS9100
  • Understanding of basic operations management principles
  • Experience working in a Lean environment or with six-sigma
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and experience with an ERP system.

This position is a regular full-time position located in our headquarters in Fridley, Minnesota.
