Minco has an outstanding opportunity for you to join our Operations team within the Temperature and Sensing Control Solutions product family area as a full-time Materials Coordinator on 2nd shift..  In this role, you will perform cycle counting, troubleshoot inventory problems and make appropriate finished goods adjustments in our ERP systems. You'll have the opportunity to help manage inventory accuracy. You'll work closely with our materials management and production teams and what you do will have an important impact on the company and our customers.  Every day, you will be responsible for delighting the customer, practicing continuous improvement and operating within our company’s “icare” values while growing and developing in your role.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare documentation and forms for work requirements in areas of assignment to load
  • Unload, pull, pick, deliver, or transport materials, products, and other items
  • Review, verify and enter incoming and outgoing orders, materials, and transportation with proper documentation
  • Ensure work requirements are completed appropriately, and information is accurate
  • Troubleshoot discrepancies and seek assistance on complex problems
  • Work on a variety of operational projects and audits records such as cycle counting, opening and closing shop orders, working with returned materials, processing international, operating the ERP
  • Serve as a specialist in one or more of these subjects within area of assignment
  • Work with team to respond to daily questions and concerns from warehousing, inventory, production, customer service, or other functions, investigates problems, and assists with identifying a solution
  • Perform a variety of shipping, receiving, and material duties, such as pulling, picking, and staging items, moving, transporting, and delivering materials, packing and shipping product
  • Ensure compliance with operating policies and procedures to maintain a safe, clean and efficient work environment
  • Receive Work WIP from work centers and outside services
  • Kit stock room materials for production shop orders
  • Make internal deliveries and pick up WIP

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • 6 months of professional experience with an ERP System (IFS, Oracle, SAP, etc)
  • 6 months of experience in a warehouse, shipping, or material environment

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Microsoft office applications experience (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint)
  • Experience with cycle counting and inventory audits

 

Professional Skills Requirements:

 

  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to work well in a team environment

 

This position is a regular full-time position located in our headquarters in Fridley, Minnesota
